About Creating Your Own Opportunities
- Try to look forward and see where you want to be and reverse engineer from where you want to be backwards to figure out what kinds of opportunities you’d need to get there.
- Just put yourself out there!
- You have to create space for yourself to create opportunities.
- Investing in other people will never be a bad investment
- “Networking” should be less about selling yourself and more about connecting and having relationships
- It’s actually not only who you know though, it is also about what you know too
- Don’t just connect with people for what they can do for you. Create relationships and then look for natural openings for opportunities through those people instead
- Relationships are always worth it.
- When you get out there-there will be more opportunities for more opportunities 😉
- Creating opportunities starts with your mindset.
- Your inner monologue matters because it shapes your attitude towards potential opportunities.
