I was recently offered a position to teach at a private art college, my Alma Mater. In fact, when I was offered the job I rejected the opportunity for weeks because I didn’t see myself as a “teacher” or “the teaching type”. What I finally realized is that I’ve been teaching since the day I started this blog.
I teach every single time I help another designer with their project or help someone choose type or colors for a design.
It’s so much more meaningful to be able to share the knowledge I have than it is to just be a know it all and keep it all to myself. So teach, in whatever capacity you are given the opportunity to do so.
